Sequoia's Sunday brunch continues to be a wonderful experience. The all you can eat buffet brunch provides so many delicious options for any palate. Waffle station. Asian station. Pasta. Crab cakes. Crab legs. Oysters. Cold salads. Desserts. That Creme brulee is one of the best. Bottomless mimosas, Bellinis, Bloody Mary's, soft drinks... And so much more. The service is always great. And the restaurant is a beautiful space on the Georgetown Waterfront. There's street parking and a parking lot directly connected to the restaurant. Check it out for yourself. Mmmm... Bon Appetit! Cheers! Enjoy!

Nice restaurant where you can sit indoor or outdoor for views of the Potomac River. There's a bar outside that you can sit at as well if you just want drinks. My friend made a reservation for us which I recommend because it gets busy quick, especially on a Saturday night. I got the blueberry mojito for a drink which was delicious and then the crab cake entree with the coconut basmati rice. SO delicious!! My friend got a glass of Chardonnay and the Chilean sea bass entree which she said was amazing. Our waitress was kind. Definitely recommend coming here, it's more upscale and pricier. Our bill total for the two of us plus tip & tax was $160

I've dined at Sequoia plenty of times with good experiences with their brunch buffet, outdoor dining, and outdoor bar. The food undoubtedly is delicious. Perhaps the best part of the experience are the beautiful interior and gorgeous view of the Potomac River and Washington Harbor on the Georgetown waterfront. What keeps this place from getting a 5*, in my opinion, is the customer service. The customer service isn't terrible, however, it's not 5* customer service. From the bar staff, maitre D, and staff who don't have primary engagement with diners, the experience could be better which is disappointing because the other aspects of their operation is stellar. The staff simply seem to "work" without really making efforts to engage diners or offer a 5* experience outside of simply taking food and drink orders. If dining outside or at the bar I recommend arriving early on Friday nights and weekends because as I mentioned, people want the prime views and bar space. Overall a good experience. As far as dining is concerned, I'll probably stick with eating at the bar. Give them a try.

beautiful location/view If you want to impress someone who likes/can eat buffet, this is the place. the LARGEST buffet I have ever been to. LOVE all the customer cooking/options. I have NEVER seen a pasta prepared in a cheese wheel at a buffet! pasta alla ruota! Chocolate fountain! wow. so many options from sushi, dim sum, custom omelette, fried chicken, my only requests if they wanted to expand/cater to more asian guests: would be "japanese breakfast" = beautifully prepared salmon and miso soup, and jook (rice porridge for Taiwanese/Chinese) but you can't have everything and they had almost everything! minus 1 star b/c $200 for 2 people is a lot for 2 petite asian women.

Had another enjoyable Mother's day brunch at Sequoia DC. Great selections of buffet, fresh seafood, variety of cold dish sections, order to make omelette and pasta stations. We are especially glad they added Peking Duck station. This is such a convenient way to have some Peking duck on a Mother's Day . You don't need to add all the ingredients they make it pre-rolled and you can just go and pick it up and they are so delicious. Deserve station is like always, never disappointing only overwhelming , with fruit tart , macaroons cotton candies, chocolate fountain, mango cake, and some gigantic chocolate covered strawberries that are so juicy and sweet. They did some pricing change for this year . For the previous years, they had it around $96 per person, if you want mimosa, it was additional to add on. And for this year's Mother's Day, they charge a flat price of $120 with all the drinks, including mimosas or champagne included. Personally I don't mind the pricing increase at all. This actually made it more convenient. Service was great, super attentive and efficient . We especially enjoyed the atmosphere. It was very family-friendly, bright and inviting. Sequoia has been one of our regular spots to go to for either special occasions or we want some fresh crab legs. The management have been doing a great job of maintaining the quality of service and food. Highly recommend by @winedinenvacay

We came for Saturday brunch and it was perfect! The food and drinks were never ending for 2 hours. Our waiter was very accommodating, I don't eat meat and recommended things for me to eat and was able to take the meat products out for my courses. Eating outside was nice even with the sun out because of the multiple umbrellas.

While the service was a little slow where we had to ask for our cheese (focaccia) bread about 4 times, I would be remiss if I gave this restaurant anything less than 5 stars for its food! There is ample inside and outside seating with great views of the water. The ambiance is classy modern with floor to ceiling windows very bright with natural light through. Decor is understated elegance with modern ceiling light. Tables are covered in pressed table cloth, the right amount of romantic and social gathering ambiance. My friend ordered chilled lobster and shrimp salad which came with mango salsa and sauce and second sriracha vinaigrette. The New England chowder soup was divine according to my friend. I ordered the chicken chimichurri and grilled shrimp with coconut rice with black beans. Heavenly! Right amount of seasoning, perfectly grilled luscious good sized shrimps on a skewer. We would have licked the plates clean if we could. Definitely unilaterally absolute place highly recommended for everyone to enjoy.

I've head about Sequoia for years and finally made it. The weather was almost 70 degrees so I sat outside on the patio. I started my Sunday brunch with a waffle, crab cake, and breakfast potatoes...it was soooo good! The waffle had the perfect texture, the breakfast potatoes were seasoned well, and crab cake was yummy. The star of the show was the seafood paella. My GAWD it was good. More sweet than savory and I Loved it! I had a whole plate of it alone. My server was Rosalyn and she was such a sweetheart. Sis made sure my cousins request for strawberry lemonade in a flute was fulfilled. I would totally come back when I want a nice brunch to enjoy along the Potomac.

Nestled right by the waterfront, Sequoia is a spacious, two-story gem offering stunning views from every corner. Whether it's a corporate bash or a special night out, this place buzzes with excitement, especially come Friday. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the vibe can be as formal as you'd want it to be. The food and drinks were great. I opted for the octopus for the appetizer and duck for the main course, both of which were excellent. With its relaxed atmosphere and mouthwatering dishes, Sequoia is the perfect spot to unwind and savor every moment, all while soaking in those gorgeous waterfront views. #bubblytip: Don't worry about where you're seated - the view is gorgeous no matter what!

$89.95 plus tax Unlimited champagne mimosas or Bellini .... They came around to refill as often as they do water. Parking and getting here was very confusing. My main hang up was the noise it was so loud like a junior high school cafeteria at lunch time... whew I couldn't hear my table of five conversation. They had a very nice variety of food. Crab legs Sushi Oysters Clams Mussels Lobster bisque Taco bar Paella Cheesy grits Salad bar Carving station Dessert bar Cotton candy Waffles Omelets BAAACCOOOOONNN All the food was just ok. I could give it 5 stars to noisy no live music just an expensive cafeteria ...
